Convention Wrap-Up
Written by Rushern L. Baker, III on September 18, 2012, 10:53AMFriends, The convention is over, and the folks who gathered in Charlotte from all over the country last week have made their way home. But I know the energy we felt--and that Democrats across this nation felt as they watched our president speak--is still alive. I have seen it in all of the emails, tweets and messages you have sent in response to our convention emails. And I saw it in the volunteers who came out with me recently to knock on doors in Virginia, one of the most important swing states ... read more>>

Summer has arrived: What's next for Team Baker?
Written by Rushern L. Baker III on July 26, 2011, 12:08PM
Dear Friend,
Summer has arrived in Prince George's County. Kids are home from school, pools are open, neighbors are throwing block parties, and the Bakers are barbequing. It was great to see so many people out celebrating what we've already accomplished together, and talking about what's next on our road from good to great.
The summer has been a busy time for Team Baker. School may be out, but we're making sure that our students are still learning. Maryland's first Middle College program just opened at Prince George's Community College, and the participati... read more>>
